God Calls All of Us to Be Disciples — Not Celebrities

Somewhere along the way, we confused calling with clout. We confused discipleship with degrees. We confused holiness with platforms. And we confused God’s favor with financial excess.
Jesus never told us to become impressive.
He told us to follow Him.
“Go therefore and make disciples…” — Matthew 28:19
Not build brands. Not grow empires. Not chase stages. Not monetize the gospel.
Just make disciples.
Paper Doesn’t Make You Holy
A degree, a license, a certificate, a title, or even decades of experience do not make someone closer to God than the person quietly praying in their kitchen.
Holiness is not granted by paperwork.
It is formed in obedience. In humility. In repentance. In love.In integrity. In how we treat people when no one is watching.
God has never measured His servants by résumés — only by fruit.
The Gospel Was Never Meant to Make You Rich
I believe in a living wage for pastors.I believe ministers deserve to be cared for.But the Gospel was never meant to build luxury lifestyles that rise far above the people being served.
When shepherds begin to live in excess while sheep struggle to survive — something is broken.
Jesus walked among the poor.He ate with the broken. He lived simply.
The Kingdom was never about accumulation. It has always been about transformation.
You Are Not Defective — You Are Redeemed
If you have accepted Jesus Christ and are walking with Him, you are already His.
You are not defective. You are not spiritually broken. You are redeemed.
“He whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” — John 8:36
Growth does not come from endless “deliverance sessions.”It comes from repentance, renewal, Scripture, obedience, healing, and — yes — counseling when needed.
Healing is not weakness.Processing trauma is not a lack of faith. It is stewardship of your soul.
Prosperity Teaching Distorts God’s Character
Show me in Scripture where God tells struggling families to give their last dollars to people flying private jets in exchange for promised blessings.
You won’t find it.
God never asked the poor to fund the rich.He never competed with your responsibility to care for your household.
“Anyone who does not provide for their family has denied the faith…” — 1 Timothy 5:8
God provides. But He does not manipulate.
This Is the Call
Be a good person.Love God.Love people.Read your Bible.Repent when you fall.Heal what’s broken.Choose humility.Stop chasing money.Stop chasing things of this world.Stop turning the Gospel into a product.
Jesus didn’t come to make us impressive. He came to make us whole.
And He called all of us — not just the platformed — to walk in truth.
Not as celebrities.
But as disciples.
